After hitting a central curb on an unlit road and destroying both drivers side wheels on the way back from Devon to Hertfordshire they really saved me. After calling at 8:30am they put me in touch with a partner for recovery vehicle, this was collected just after 9am. They were honest and told me a repair is possible but if parts required it would be next day, with a busy schedule and us staring at a night in a hotel with a new puppy they managed to repair it just before closing time. Such a great service and updates, we’ve just got home after a 3 hour drive. Thank you so much! 5 star service.

We suffered a blowout on the motorway and managed to limp the car to Sowton tyres and mot. The guys there went out of their way to take my wheel and tyre to their tyre fitting shop and fit me a new tyre. This is where another company might fleece you…. But not these guys. They just charged me for the tyre…. I can’t thank them enough for helping me get my wife and two small children home. A 6 hour trip from their workshop! We would have been stranded without their exceptional help…. above and beyond!!! Thanks again….

Popped in on the off chance to see if they sold light bulbs to save me driving to Marsh barton, to which they did. The gentleman who served me was fantastic, friendly, and very helpful especially as I didn’t know what type of bulb I needed. He came to look at what I needed, and then fitted it for me too. I have known Jamie for 25 years. Had a blow out on Sunday night. He calmed me down and arranged to get it sorted. Sean was amazing as always. Fitted the new tyre and checked for any other damage. Removed the locking wheel nuts that had been overtightened elsewhere during lock down. Been back today to have the other three tyres replaced. It’s not just because these blokes are good its because they care about what they do, they are honest and on this occasion went far beyond what was expected from anyone and that is what is highly commendable. Would have no hesitations recommending Sowton Mots, Jamie, Sean and all the lads. 💙

Rung up on the Wednesday last week slightly worried about a squeaking sound on my car. The person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly, and said I can pop it in on the Saturday and they can have a look. Turned out to be brake pads – they sorted this on that morning. Highly recommend. After calling a slightly closer garage, and having really bad customer service and being told they wouldn’t be able to have a look for 2 months! From my limited experience very helpful, my daughter was having her vehicle mot’d there, it was raining very heavily and getting the child seat transfered to my vehicle was proving problematic, the young chap came out in pouring rain and sorted the problem.

Used these guys since moving to Exeter 10 months ago and they’ve been brilliant. They did my mum’s car which passed it’s MOT but when driving back from Plymouth on a Saturday the car broke down and I asked the RAC to take it to them obviously unannounced and they had it fixed pretty quick even know it wasn’t booked in . My own car is booked in end of Oct for MOT fingers crossed
